The Legacy Of Our Colorado Springs Funeral Home

The Shrine of Remembrance has been locally owned and operated by the Rombocos family since 1977. We offer both full-service funerals as well as cremation services. Our facilities are widely considered to be the best of any funeral home in Colorado Springs. Our goal is to provide you and your family with the highest level of professionalism, service, and the best of care for your loved one during your time of need. We are committed to guiding you with the right choices by providing meaningful up-front and factual information. In addition, we believe there is great value in dealing with a locally owned funeral home rather than a large, out-of-state chain. For over 50 years we have been the premier Colorado Springs Funeral Home and a faithful provider of legendary and best value services to our community. Furthermore, our commitment to excellence at our full-service funeral home, on-site crematories, exclusive mausoleums, and columbarium facilities (like no other) offers everything one might desire in a unique and beautifully maintained place to honor the legacy of your family.

MULTIGENERATIONAL LEGACY

It all began in 1965 with a spark of a new idea from Costas Rombocos, a courageous immigrant from Athens, Greece, who aspired to pursue excellence and innovation in the death care industry. Costas has sought innovation without sacrificing his reverent respect for our heritage, legacy, and the traditions of the past. With his great values and motivation he has created the finest Colorado Springs funeral home available today.

Costas’ oldest son, Demetri Rombocos, joined his father at the Shrine of Remembrance in November of 1993 following his graduation from Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois. He has served as the President of the Shrine of Remembrance for many years.

Dino Rombocos, Costas’ younger son began his employment at the Shrine of Remembrance following his graduation from Cheyenne Mountain High School in 1992.

Together, both Dino and Demetri have demonstrated their commitment and love for the industry for over 25 years to follow in their father’s footsteps and continue to uphold the mission and excellence of the Shrine of Remembrance well into the 21st Century. The Shrine of Remembrance looks forward to continuing to be the best value Colorado Springs funeral home for many years to come.
