Linda (Doyle) Duncan, age 63, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away December 17, 2011 at her Colorado home.
Mrs. Duncan was born January 29, 1948 in Pueblo, Colorado to Dean and Jessie (Wren) Doyle.
She attended Ansonia High School in Ansonia, Ohio. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, crossword puzzling and playing in the outdoors with her family.
Linda’s life touched many. She always emphasized that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. Her beautiful smile, joyful personality and zest for life brought so much joy to her family, friends and community.
Although her death was sudden, she gave us all such courage and hope and always reminded us of the preciousness of life.
She is survived by her husband, Albert Duncan of Ohio; her three daughters: Kimberly Bourn of Tucson, Arizona, Teresa Egli and Melinda Myers of Colorado Springs, Colorado; nine grandchildren: Rayce Valentine, Carlos Gerardo, Joseph Egli, Deomni Myers, Quavon Bryant, Austin Bourn, Lindon Bourn, Naomi Myers, and Tanner Bourn; and her brothers and their spouses: Mike and Vicki Doyle, and Larry and Patti Doyle; several nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her father, Dean Austin Doyle, Jr. and her mother, Jessie Louise Doyle.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 22, 2011 at the Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel. A reception will follow at Olympian Plaza Reception and Event Center, 975 South Union Boulevard.
