Aileen A. Berger, 87, passed away on January 2nd, 2023. She was a resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado for 40 years. Aileen retired from civil service at Peterson Air Force Base.
Aileen A. Berger was born on August 4, 1935 in the West Indies (Trinidad & Tobago) to Catherine Barton and Duncan McNeil. She later moved to Canada and met her husband, Dennis Berger. They married in 1969 and were together for 51 years.
Aileen was known for her kindness and always going out of her way for others. She always said “Treat others as you would like to be treated”. Aileen was known for her amazing cooking and baking skills. She even had a side business decorating cakes for a multitude of occasions.
Aileen is survived by her children Dawn M. Berger and Mark A. Berger; Sibling Lloyd Gordon. Further survived by a host of nieces and nephews.

A Visitation will be held from 5:00pm – 7:00pm on Thursday 1/19/23 at Shrine of Remembrance. Service will be held at 2:00pm on Friday 1/20/23 at Shrine of Remembrance. A reception for close family/friends will be held after services. Please contact Dawn Berger for more info.
Aileen will join her husband at Pikes Peak National Cemetery (10545 Drennan Rd, Colorado Springs, CO 80925)
