Alden Wayne Austin, a Vietnam veteran, died peacefully in his sleep on August 23, 2015. Alden received numerous medals and awards while proudly serving in the United States Army for 21 years. After discharge, he went on to work and retire from Fort Carson Civil Service.
Alden is survived by two daughters, one son, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He will be laid to rest with his beloved wife at the Shrine of Remembrance Mausoleum. Both will be sorely missed and remembered with love.
