Alec Balhorn, a lifelong resident of Colorado Springs, passed away on Saturday, May 3, 2014. He was a 6th grade student at Skyview Middle School.
Alec was born on June 12, 2002 in Colorado Springs to Robert D. and Angelique G. (Toledo) Balhorn. He attended Odyssey Elementary before entering middle school. He was a band member and Tech Club member.
He was fun-loving, caring, and giving. He was a happy person who could sense sadness in others and did his best to make people happy. He loved technology and was an avid Broncos fan.
He is survived by his parents; his grandparents: Lydia Toledo, Sharon Balhorn, and Doug Balhorn; and numerous family members.
A Rosary will begin at 9:15 a.m. with a Memorial Mass at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 9, 2014 at St. Dominic Catholic Church, 5354 South Highway 85/87 in Security.
