In loving memory of our mother, Alice Borchers who passed away on 12/30/2022. She was the devoted wife of Lou Borchers and loving mother/step mother of Richard Scherm, Christine Puckett, William Borchers, and Brenda Harrold. She was surrounded by family upon her passing and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Our mother, Alice, was one of the strongest and most courageous women to ever walk this earth and our family was blessed to have her. She was a kind, caring and giving person who always put the needs of her family and friends before her own. Alice was a strong woman who faced every challenge in her life with courage and dignity. Our mother was a source of inspiration to us all and she will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives she touched.
Growing up, she was always there for us, whether we needed help with our homework, guidance on life choices, or just a shoulder to cry on. She was a woman of strength and determination and she instilled in us the importance of family, hard work and doing what is right. Our mother was a true role model who we will always look up to.
Alice’s career and love was real estate. She was known as a great REALTOR® to her clients and fellow real estate professionals. She assisted many people with her guidance during the process of achieving their real estate goals. Alice always provided support and direction to her clients. She treated each person as if they were her only customer and as if they were a member of her own family. Alice was recognized within the real estate community as an individual who freely assisted others. During her many years of participation in the industry she assisted many real estate professionals just as she assisted her buyers and sellers. Alice’s knowledge and problem solving skills were valued by her peers. The real estate community will miss her.
Alice was born to Richard Thomas “Dick” Dailey and Martha Louise Gray Dailey. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Louis F. Borchers; stepson Louis R. Borchers; and two brothers, Leslie “Dick” Dailey and Charles “Chucky” Dailey. Survived by her siblings – Jerry Dailey and wife Billie, Mary Dailey Anderson and husband Steve, Dan Dailey and wife Susie, Cathy Dailey VanDusen, and Patrick Dailey. 3 Jan 2023I’ve learned the truth is that all the stuff here on earth, we work so hard too buy and accumulate, does not mean a thing at the end of journey people will be going through our stuff, figuring out what to with it all. The only thing of value is our memories of our time spent together, through pain and tears upon our cheeks. It’s the memory we deposit into others that brings us from tears too a happy thought, or a smile or too better ourselfs. As I am over whelmed with emotions, I try change my tears too the smiles and sarcastic wit u have put tords us all.May we all learn from u as I have , that things are just what they are, and spend more time making memories that last forever, I am very saddened u are gone, I can’t help but cry for we all miss u very much, I am sure this will be off and on for a long while, with tears and memories to break through, too big a smile, just know the greatest gifts u have given me, is your daughter Christine Puckett ,the love of my life, and the memories u embedded in my heart forever.Love always mom your son in-law.we miss u love always mike
