Alma Irene Dalton, a resident of Fountain since 1969, passed away on Friday, October 2, 2020.
Alma was born December 2, 1923 to Allen and Annie E. Ball in Washington D.C. She married William L. Dalton on December 23, 1944. She was a homemaker who loved taking care of her family. She also enjoyed square dancing and extensive travel.
She is survived by five sons: Wayne (Pat), Bill (Cathy), Bruce (Erika), Dennis, and Jim (Gary) Dalton; two daughters: Linda Potter, and Phyllis (Pete) Peters; eight grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Thomas Stewart; a brother, Paul Ball; and two sisters: Helen Ball, and Viola Bastain.
A visitation will be held at 9:00 a.m. with funeral service at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 12, 2020 at Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd. Interment will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
