Anastasia (Ann) Clorinda Scharich passed away peacefully on June 19, 2022 at the age of 79. She spent much of her life as a resident of Colorado Springs and Cañon City, Colorado.
Ann was born on December 11, 1942 to Santiago (Jim) and Dora Manchego in the small town of Saguache, Colorado. On September 14, 1980 she married the love of her life, Ken Scharich, in Colorado Springs.
Ann was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandma, great-grandma, and friend. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, playing card games, spending time with family and friends, and listening to music. Ann was an avid follower of Christ and loved spending much of her free time serving and attending church.
Ann is survived by her daughter Kimberly Anderson, her stepchildren David Scharich, and Kimberlee Scharich, her daughter-in-law Hope Scharich, her grandchildren: Jessica, Rochelle, Crystal, and LD, and her many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Ken Scharich, her stepdaughter Lezlie Scharich, her parents Jim and Dora Manchego, her sister Mary Abeyta, and her brothers Alcario and Selso Manchego.
A visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on July 5, 2022 at Shrine of Remembrance, 1730 E Fountain Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80910. A funeral service to honor Ann will be held directly after at 10 a.m.
