Andy Tolmich, age 82, passed away on Jan 18, 2017. He was a resident of Colorado Springs for 47 years and was formally a resident of Lawndale, California. He was a Journeyman Carpenter and a man of many talents.
Andy was born February 23, 1934 to Bill Tolmich and Bertha (Archuleta).
Andy was an accomplished artist, musician, excellent guitarist, athlete, mechanic, and all around tradesman. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church Choir and The Knights of Columbus. He continued his education throughout his lifetime. He was a US Navy Veteran.
He is survived by his loving wife, Irene Tolmich of 61 years; his children: Diana Cox, Bill Tolmich, and Michael Tolmich; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
A visitation and a rosary will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at the Shrine of Remembrance, “America the Beautiful” Chapel, 1730 East Fountain Boulevard with rosary at 6:00 pm. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Friday, January 27, 2017 at Our Lady of Guadalupe, 2715 East Pikes Peak Avenue. The burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery with a reception to follow at Our Lady of Guadalupe.
