Angela Christine Cottone left this life on September 16, 2017. She resided at The Health Care Resort of Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was 90 years old and always lived life to the fullest.
She was born of first generation Italian immigrants. On April 11, 1948 she married Gaspare Cottone, also born of first generation Italian immigrants and started their adventure in life together which lasted 68 years.
She worked as a civil service employee for many years. Mom excelled as a typist and a speed-reader. She and Gaspare had a love for English Springer Spaniels and traveled the dog show circuit for many years and had 7 champion dogs. Mom was a gifted baker and cook. Angie loved the finer things in life and relished finding them at the Flea Market. She raised us with morals, religion and respect. She always said: “And This Too Shall Pass”. We will miss you Mom.
She is survived by her three children: Beatrice (Mike) Woltz of Poquoson, Virginia, Anthony Cottone of Peyton, Colorado and Denise (Mike) McKown of Twin Falls, Idaho; and numerous grandchildren and two great grandsons.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at the Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel. Private interment at Eastonville Cemetery, Elbert, Colorado.
