CMSgt. Angelo M. Briscoe, USAF (Ret.)
CMSgt. Angelo M. Briscoe, USAF (Ret.) passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at his home in Colorado Springs. He retired in 1972 after serving his country for 22 years in the United States Air Force.
Angelo M. Briscoe was born on March 31, 1929 in Rockford, Illinois to the late Sam and Josephine (Bruscato) Briscoe. He attended school in Rockford, Illinois, enjoyed fly fishing and Rockies Baseball Spring Training.
He is survived by his son, Jeffery (and Mary) Briscoe of Black Forest, Colorado; his daughter, Pamela Briscoe of Scottsdale, Arizona; his grandsons: Colton and Payton Briscoe; niece: Sue Sklar of Rockford, Illinois; and his longtime companion: Patricia A. Briscoe of Colorado Springs. Also surviving is a host of other relatives, friends, and “Jello” will be dearly missed by Jason, Tim, Nicolo, Callie, and Brandon Briscoe.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Patricia J. Briscoe in 1988; and his sister: Theresa Weedman in 2011.
Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 20, 2012 at Central United Methodist Church, 4373 Galley Road, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80915. A luncheon reception will follow the services at the church. Burial will be at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Central United Methodist Church or to Evercare Hospice, 5450 Tech Center Drive #120, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80919.
