Anthony David Bell – August 18, 2022

Anthony Bell, age 33, passed away on 18 August 2022. He was a resident of Austin, TX for 3 years and was formerly a resident of Colorado Springs, CO. He was a computer engineer, most recently working in Research and Development for Sony Playstation.

Anthony was born on 1 May 1989 to David Bell and Letty (Liano) Bell at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, OH, just outside Dayton, OH.

Anthony was fond of music, the guitar, video games, programming, and reading. He attended Bishop Guertin High School in Nashua, NH and Pine Creek High School in Colorado Springs, CO, graduating in 2007. He attended the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, majoring in Computer Engineering, graduating in 2018. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps for 5 years on active duty and 3 years in the reserves, attaining the rank of Sergeant.

He is survived by his grandmother, Janet Bell, his parents, David and Letty Bell, and his younger sister, Stephanie Bell, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins, all of whom he dearly loved.

A rosary service will be held at 9:30 am on Friday, 26 August 2022, at St. Peter the Rock Catholic Church in Monument, CO (55 Jefferson St., Monument, CO 80132). A Funeral Mass will follow at the same location starting at 10 am. Inurnment will be held at the Shrine of Remembrance (1730 E Fountain Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80910) the same day at 3 pm.
