Anthony Kenneth David Glyshaw, 21, went to his celestial eternity May 2nd, 2016 in Colorado Springs, CO. He was born January 13th, 1995 in Battle Creek, MI to Clarence and Leanora (Vesely) Glyshaw. He attended Lakeview School District in Battle Creek, MI. At the point of his untimely passing he was employed at Best Bid Seal Coat in Colorado Springs, CO as an asphalt laborer.

He enjoyed riding his dirt bikes and “trying” to work on cars. He enjoyed music and was a chess champion; playing with his brothers and father. But because of his early departure he didn’t get the chance at life like he was hoping to find. We will never know what could have been, but we know what was. Ant was a good-hearted, kind and loving soul. His laughter was unforgettable. He was very forgiving and if he had it, it was yours. We are grateful beyond our wildest imaginations that we had him for his 21 years.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Glyshaw (2010); his most beloved brother, Stephen Glyshaw (2005); maternal grandparents, Robert and Patricia Vesely; paternal grandparents, James and Joyce Glyshaw; and special uncle, Kenneth Glyshaw.

He is survived by his mother, Leanora Glyshaw; his sister, Patricia (Daniel) Ryan; brother, Joseph (Ashley) Glyshaw; aunts and uncles: Keith (Kathy) Vesely, Madelaine Ready, Paula Vesely, Mercita Vesely, Joseph Vesely, Rebecca Lapekas, Cynthia (Jeff) Clark, Tamara Glyshaw; cousins: Rozalind (Shane) Henderson, Luke Vesely, Adam (Laura) Vesely, Eric (Kim) Vesely, April Vesely, James Eads, Christina (Roberto) Charles, Robert (Mariah) McNeely, Cassandra McNeely, Paula McNeely, Aaron Vesely, Nicolas Glyshaw, Chris (Carissa) Glyshaw, Travis Clark, Josh Clark, Ashley Clark, Angela (Shawn) Solon, Jessica Lapekas, and Bobby Glyshaw.

Most proud he was of his nieces and nephews: Julian, Jayden, Jack, Nevaeh, Madelynn, Arianna, Coralei, Mireya, and New Baby. Special People: Devin Hall, Jamiee Clark, Cheyenne Alday, Lyndzi Lee and many more. As a family we are more than blessed by the love and support of extended family and friends.

Though he was born in Michigan, he was here in Colorado where he wanted to be for the beauty and the family. Thank you Peyton Manning and John Elway for winning the Super Bowl for him! Denver Broncos all the way!

And you, Anthony, were a fantastically funny, loving and beautiful soul. 21 years on this earth was not enough but our hearts will hold no malice or hatred. That would only leave you unable to rest in peaceful sleep, my son. All we have left is to let you rest your peaceful spirit on Pikes Peak; where you will be with your beloved brother, Stephen; Grandma and Grandpa Vesely; and your father, Clarence, whom you loved dearly. Merry part and blessed be to you.

A visitation will be held Monday, May 9, 2016 from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m followed by a Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m. at Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home.
