Arthur Gardner, age 93, passed away November 1, 2024, of natural causes in Castle Rock, Colorado. He had lived a long life.

Arthur had the privilege of traveling the world while in the Army. He served his country for 20 years, including a tour in Vietnam. At the age of 18, Arthur married Ruth Gardner, they shared 63 years of marriage before her passing in 2012.

One of the many things that Arthur enjoyed was wrestling, he was an avid fan of the sport. For work Arthur was a service manager in the automotive repair and mechanical industry.

He is survived by his son, Ron Gardner; daughter, Ruby Gardner; grandchildren, Ron Ennen and Angela Gardner; and great-grandchildren, Xavier and Mariela.

Arthur was laid to rest beside his wife, Ruth at the Shrine of Remembrance Mausoleum, Garden of Angels, 1730 East Fountain Boulevard, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80910.

  3. Sorry to hear about your loss Ron and Ruby, I knew Art back in the early seventies and filled my gas tanks at his station which was the cleanest station I’ve ever been to since then. You have our deepest condolences.

  4. Ron so sorry to hear about your dad passed away I remember you through high School and now take care God bless so sorry for the loss of your father and thank you for having him serve our country for protecting us too.

    He was President of our Germania Club and helped to close our building when we sold it.
    I remember Ruth and Art dancing at our functions.
    He was a great guy.
