Ben Syler, a resident of Colorado Springs for 45 years, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2022 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was formerly a resident of Chicago, Illinois and Tennessee.
Ben was born on February 6, 1941 in Winchester, Tennessee to Joseph Franklin Syler and Ruby Mae (Seals) Syler.
He was the owner of A-1 Crane Service. He also was a Mason and a Shriner. But most of all, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by three daughters: Kim Bolling, Lorri Voss, and Becki Elms; two sisters: Judy and Elaine; and 7 grandchildren: Matthew, Christopher, Danny, Jordan, Ian, Lucas, and McKenna. He was preceded in death by his son, Milan Basara; his wife, Carol Jean (Bjork) Syler; and a grandson, Joshua.
Inurnment will be held privately.
