Bertha Juanita Hickox
Bertha, age 92, passed away August 10, 2015. She was a resident of Colorado Springs for many, many years.
Bertha was born on September 23, 1922 to Nicodemus “Nick” Davenport and Elda (Clarke) Davenport, in Fort Scott, Kansas.
She was married in Las Vegas, Nevada to Clifford Hickox.
Bertha was fond of camping and fishing, and spending time with her family. She loved spending time following the Colorado Rockies baseball team, and was one of the Denver Broncos’ biggest fans.
She is survived by several nephews and nieces: Brad, and Branon Foster, Betsy Foster-Johnston, Lynda Meyers, Mandy Riggs, Glenda Syling, Charles and Billy Hickox to name a few. She was preceded in death by Clifford Hickox.
A graveside service will be held Friday, August 14, 2015 at Evergreen Cemetery, 1005 Hancock Expy., Colorado Springs, CO 80903 at 10:00 am.
