Bethany M. Maes
July 19, 1994 – December 27, 2011
Bethany M. Maes, age 17, a lifelong resident of Colorado Springs, passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 in Security-Widefield, Colorado as a result of an automobile accident. She was a senior at Doherty High School.
Bethany Moriah Maes was born on July 19, 1994 at Fort Carson, Colorado to Peter Jose and Lupita Maria Maes Morales, Jr. She was a kind hearted, gentle spirit with a wonderful smile. She was a devoted big sister, loved basketball, and was a Los Angeles Lakers fan.
She is survived by her parents; three sisters, Elissa, Hope, and Grace. She is also survived by her maternal grandmother, Jesusita Maes; paternal grandparents, Pedro and Maria Morales, Sr., all of Colorado Springs; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, December 31, 2011 at the Rocky Mountain Calvary Chapel, 4285 North Academy Boulevard. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the services at the church. Cremation is planned.
Memorials may be made at any 1st Bank branch, to the Morales Memorial Fund, in care of the Cimarron Hills Professional Firefighters Association.
