Betty Ann Juhl
October 5, 1929 – October 9, 2017
Betty Ann Juhl, a resident of Colorado Springs since 1971, passed away Monday, October 9, 2017.
She was born on October 5, 1929 to Chester M. Eby and Martha E. (Hike) Eby in Ft. Crook, Nebraska.
She was a member of Central United Methodist Church and Military Widows Association. She was a loving homemaker who enjoyed spending time with family and absolutely loved her grandkids. She will be deeply missed.
Betty is survived by four sons: Kenneth N. Juhl, Jr. (wife Cathy), William B. Juhl, Sr. (wife Deborah), Dennis M. Juhl (wife Denise), and Ronald J. Juhl (wife Christine); a brother, Henry Eby of Nebraska; a sister, Juanita Lindamood of Nebraska; eleven grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Diana Juhl; her husband, Kenneth N. Juhl, Sr.; three sisters: Wanda, Esther, and Mary Jo; and her parents.
A visitation will be held from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at Shrine of Remembrance, 1730 East Fountain Boulevard. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. with a reception to follow on Monday, October 16, 2017 at Central United Methodist Church, 4373 Galley Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80915. Interment will then be at 2:15 p.m. at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Staging Area C, in Denver, Colorado.
Memorials in Betty’s name may be made to the American Heart Association or to Central United Methodist Church.
