Betty V. Fini passed away Wednesday, April 29th. She was a resident of Colorado Springs for 51 years and formerly a resident of Pueblo and Walsenburg, Colorado. She was a homemaker.
Betty was born on March 1st, 1936 to Steven and Mary (Nardine) Dolzanie in Rouse, Colorado. On January 26th 1959 she married Donald A Fini. Betty went to Cosmetology school while raising her children and maintained her license for years after she quit working.
Betty was an avid Denver Broncos fan, but her true passion was the love she had for her family. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary #143.
She is survived by her one true love, Don; her children: Donald, Deborah (James), Darrel (Laura) and Diane (Barry); her siblings: Steve (Ruby) Dolzanie, and Josephine (George) Rogers; her grandson, Dominick; and numerous step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Steven and Mary Dolzanie; brother, Robert (Elaine) Dolzanie; and sister and brother-in-law, Mary Anne and Danny Figal.
Service will be at the Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel, 1730 East Fountain Boulevard on Thursday, May 7 at 10am. Inurnment will follow the service at the Shrine of Remembrance. A funeral luncheon will follow the inurnment at Fraternal Order of Eagles, 1050 South 21st Street.
