Beverly “Jean” Sedlor
June 9, 1932 – April 30, 2018
Beverly “Jean” Sedlor, age 85, a resident of Colorado Springs since 1971 and formerly of Florissant, Colorado and Sedalia, Missouri passed away on April 30, 2018 in Colorado Springs. She was a retired cosmetologist who owned and operated Jean’s Hair Care in Florissant, Colorado.
Beverly Jean Trotter was born on June 9, 1932 in Sedalia, Missouri to Harry Ulysses and Gladys Marie (Bail) Trotter. She was a 1949 graduate of Smith-Cotton High School and then attended Americana Beauty College in Colorado Springs.
Jean married Albert D. Sedlor on June 25, 1955 in Sedalia. They traveled the world while Albert served in the United States Air Force and retired in Colorado Springs in 1971. Albert passed away on June 2, 2007 after 53 years of marriage.
She was a member of the Fellowship of the Rockies and enjoyed Bible studies and travel. She will best be remembered for her kindness to others, and for her love of scriptures and family.
She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Lea Agner of Aurora, Colorado; son, Albert Joseph Sedlor of Phoenix, Arizona; son, Dexter Sedlor of Colorado Springs, Colorado; grandson, Joseph Alexander Agner of Aurora, Colorado; and great-grandsons, Paul and Brian Agner.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 4, 2018 at Fellowship of the Rockies, 1625 South 8th Street. A reception will follow the services at the church.
Memorials in Jean’s name may be made to the Benevolence Ministries or Westside Cares Ministries at Fellowship of the Rockies.
