August 7, 1944 – March 13, 2022
Bonita Rae Taylor (Boni), age 77, passed away peacefully at her home, with her daughter, Tina
Reynolds by her side, on March 13, 2022, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was born August
7, 1944, in Lakeworth Florida to Raymond and Barbara Wisch.
She resided in Colorado Springs since 1981 after living in several “exotic” locations with her
husband, who was in the Air Force.
Boni was the most loving person this world will ever know and never knew a stranger. She was
a strong, “spunky” lady that lived her life with purpose and provided moral strength for the family.
She was intelligent, beautiful and outgoing and loved all animals, even the deer she would feed
by hand from her front porch. With purple being her favorite color, she was known around
Colorado Springs as the “Nana with beautiful purple in her hair.”
She is survived by her children: Tami Underwood (husband Frank), Tina Reynolds, Tom Giles
(wife Michelle), Veronica Voisine (husband Ricky), eight grandchildren and four great
grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Raymond and Barbara Wisch; her step mother
Leona Wisch; her loving husband of 36 years Jack Taylor; and one brother, Randy Wisch.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at Mountain
Springs Church, 7345 Adventure Way, Colorado Springs, CO.
