Bonna Deane (Lamb) Cash Campbell

Bonna Deane (Lamb) Cash Campbell was born February 15, 1921 in Iowa Falls, Iowa to Charles and Lois (Lindsey) Lamb. She was a 60-year resident of Colorado Springs and worked for 21 years for Harrison School District #2. She died May 18, 2014 at home.

She was married January 11, 1941 to Charles Cash in Indianola, Iowa. Charles died in 1976. Bonna remarried in 1987, to C. Ray Campbell.

She was a member of the Fountain Chapter of Royal Neighbors of America, V.F.W. Auxiliary #101, Red Hat Society, Saturday Breakfast Group, and PWP.

Bonna was a Charter member of Stratmoor Hills United Methodist Church and a devoted Christian who loved her family and was loved by all.

Bonna is survived by her nine children: Ruth Barfield, Charline Gaddy, Barbara Gilliland, Charles Cash, Jr., Evelyn Cash, Mary Amborn, John Cash, Joyce Cash, and James Cash; 3 step-sons: Terry, Doug, and Craig Campbell; 27 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands; her brothers: Daryl, Norman, and George; and her sister, Evelyn Lidke.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel, with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Private entombment will take place at Shrine of Remembrance Mausoleum, Garden of Angels.
