Brandy Michelle Ostler of Fountain, Colorado passed from this life on Friday, January 27, 2017 at the age of 46. Brandy was born in Denver, Colorado on November 6, 1970. She graduated high school in Lubbock, Texas and went on to get a Master’s degree in elementary education. She was a beloved teacher at Antonello Elementary in Las Vegas, Nevada. She brought much hope and inspiration to many children until she made the difficult decision to retire due to health concerns.
Brandy’s battle with lupus was incredibly difficult, but she was never alone. She was always surrounded with the love and support of her son and husband, both of whom she adored, and all the prayers sent by friends and family from afar. Her life may have been short, but it was full. She is adored, and she will be terribly missed.
Brandy is survived by her son, Maxwell Ryan Wolf, and husband, Craig Ostler, of Fountain, CO; step-son, Jason Ostler of Las Vegas, NV; her mother, Linda Marie Hallgren of Amarillo, TX; father, Michael Hallgren, and step-mother, Judy Hallgren of Las Vegas, NV; a sister, Dawn Hallgren of Amarillo; a step-sister, Danecia Mabry Sellers of Houston, TX; and a step-brother, William Mabry of Peru, IL; as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
