Bruce Kaderka
Bruce Kaderka, age 70, a resident of Colorado Springs area since 1976, passed away on January 30, 2013 at a local hospital. He owned the Black Forest Garage.
Bruce Karl Kaderka was born on March 28, 1942 in Cicero, Illinois. He graduated from high school in Sergeant Bluff, Iowa. He married Sherri L. Nolen on February 17, 1963 in Pasadena, California. He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife: Sherri; children: Christi (Tony) Clopton of Colorado Springs; Mike (Kathy) Kaderka of Windsor, Colorado; and Darrin (Jennifer) Kaderka of Windsor. He has nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Also surviving are his brothers: Frank (Suzanne) Kaderka of Coure de Alene, Idaho; and Robert (Marsha) Bornhorst of Wall Lake, Iowa; and a sister: Kathy (Dennis) Mathewson of Sioux City, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his parents, Chris and Betty Christensen.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday at Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday at Shrine of Remembrance. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
