With deep sorrow, we announce that Caleb Stiner, age 23, our beloved son, brother, family member and friend, passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2020.
Those who knew Caleb, even just a little, lost a shining star in their lives.
Caleb will be missed everyday by his dad, Richard Stiner, his mom, Angela Chatman Stiner, his sister, Kelsie Nicole Stiner, his Nana, Dorothy Chatman of Yukon, Oklahoma and Grandma Elaine Stiner of Kokomo, Indiana, his many aunts and uncles, cousins and friends.
We find comfort in knowing that Caleb is with his Papaw Mike Chatman, who passed away in July of 2018. The two were very close and Caleb looked up to him. There, in Heaven, he is also surrounded by other loved ones including his Poppie Wayne Stiner, Uncle Mike Little, and his great grandparents.
Caleb was born and raised in Oklahoma but moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado with his family in the summer of 2018. He took his final breath at St. Francis Medical Center in Colorado Springs ICU department after a weeklong battle with the flu.
Caleb was an avid skateboarder, a talented guitar player and a social media influencer with over 20,000 followers and fans. He was an accomplished musician who expressed himself though the music he wrote, coming from his heart and experiences. He enjoyed going on hikes and checking out local breweries with his dad, playing music with his sister and shopping for his fashion designing hobby with his mom.
Caleb was the type of man that everyone and anyone could come to and just talk about life with. He had a huge heart and was so filled with empathy and compassion. Once Caleb was your friend, he was a friend for life.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on March 15th at 5pm in Yukon, Oklahoma at the 10 West Main Event Center, 10 West Main St., Suite 135, Yukon, Oklahoma 73099 (405)265-8580.
