Cameron Fields, age 39, a resident of Colorado Springs since 1987 and formerly of California, died on August 10, 2013 at his home in Colorado Springs. He was a tattooist known as Cameron Maximus. He was a loving son, brother, and uncle.
Cameron Matthew Fields was born on March 31, 1974 in Pasadena, California to Michael and the late Julia Fields. He attended school in Covina, California. He was a creative artist who enjoyed cycling and dirt biking. He loved tattooing, woodworking, gardening, and was most proud of his backyard.
He is survived by his father, Michael (and Michael’s wife, Lorelei) Fields of Colorado Springs; and his three siblings: Carolyn Frick of Colorado Springs; Chris (wife, Yvette) Fields of Temecula, California; and Cimberley (husband, Ken) Devenyns of Pueblo West, Colorado; and daughter, Kristina. Also numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 16, 2013 at the Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel. A reception will follow at the Olympian Plaza Reception and Event Center, 975 South Union Boulevard.
