Cameron John McDaniel, age 62, passed away on June 14th, 2022. He was a resident of Colorado Springs for the last 16 years and was formerly a resident of Topeka, Kansas. He was a copier repair technician.
Cameron was born on November, 28th, 1957 to Thomas L. McDaniel and Ima Lee (Green) McDaniel in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Cam was fond of tinkering with his cars. He also enjoyed baseball and keeping of with girls college softball. He was a follower of Jesus since he was young and attended Van Horn High School in Independence, Missouri.
He is survived by his mother, Ima L. McDaniel of Lee’s Summit, Missouri; his brother and his wife Jim and Ann McDaniel also of Lee’s Summit; his sister and her husband Amy and Charles Cothern of Colorado Springs; his nephew and his wife Justin and Jennifer Cothern of Katy, Texas; and nephew and his wife Keagen and Rachel Cothern of Colorado Springs; and great nephews and niece, Lincoln, Graham and Lucy Cothern of Colorado Springs. He is preceded in death by his brother Thomas L. McDaniel and sister Joyce L. Lobingier.
A Memorial Service will be held at Shrine of Remembrance at 1730 East Fountain Boulevard at 10:00 am on July 8th, 2022. A reception will be held on premises immediately following the service.
Cameron will be remembered for his friendliness toward all and will be missed.
