Carlos Robert Peña Sr. (AKA) Grandpa
Went Home to be with the Lord August 27, 2021, at 93 years old. He was born in Sugar City to Roberto and Ydelia Peña September 4, 1927. He attended school in Sugar City Ordway Colorado, he also served in the armed forces from 1945-1947. His rank was 1st Sergeant and was also a WWII Veteran. He met his beloved wife, Lillie Cordova in 1947. He worked for Nick Pinello Construction for 26 years before retiring.
He loved the lord and his family. He read his devotional and Bible daily. He was well known for his humor, and he had nicknames for everyone. He is preceded in death by his wife, Lillie, daughter Brenda, grandson Matthew, and two brothers and one sister. He is survived by his children, Dora (Dale) Aigaki, Carlos (Marcella) Peña Jr, Jerry (Trish) Peña, Leroy (Denise) Peña, Jeanette (Kenny) Gestes, Michael J. Peña, and Ydelia C. Lamont, as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
