Cathy Ann (Jones) Schofield
Cathy Ann (Jones) Schofield, a resident of Colorado Springs for 50 years, passed away February 9, 2013 after a long term illness.
She was born January 23, 1957 in Frankfurt, Germany to Paul and Mary (Delaney) Jones. She graduated from Wasson High School, Class of 1975, and was a licensed cosmetologist receiving her certification from Pikes Peak Community College in 1979-1980. She married Robert Schofield on May 28, 1976 in Colorado Springs. Her biggest thrill was her children and grandson. She also loved to have her animals close by.
She is survived by her mother, Mary Ann Jones of Canon City; two brothers: William Joseph Jones of Cripple Creek, and Paul Earl Jones of Lincoln, Nebraska; her husband, Bob Schofield of Colorado Springs; son, Earl Paul Schofield of Colorado Springs; daughter, Mary Elizabeth Fisher of Colorado Springs; and grandson, Brandon Lee Fisher also of Colorado Springs. She was preceded in death by her father.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel.
