Shrine of Remembrance’s magnificent location covers approximately fifteen acres with breathtaking views of Pikes Peak, Cheyenne Mountain and the Front Range, making our “America the Beautiful” Chapel and its Olympian Legacy Gardens the most enchanting cremation/memorialization gardens and mausoleums in the state of Colorado. Also featured is our beautiful new outdoor Family Gathering Pavilion with its 5 adjacent gazebos and our Rock of Ages waterfalls and fountains providing a most inviting setting for fellowship following funeral and memorial services, as well as outdoor summer jazz concerts, Mariachi bands, military honors, and weddings. Families will soon be able to bring and prepare their own picnic meals or have catering, weather permitting, and still observe social distancing (reservations required), with off-street parking available for over 200 vehicles. Another first of its kind for the funeral industry.

We have many meaningful choices for permanent placement of cremated remains; offering over 30 separate, most-impressive, indoor and garden columbaria, all for substantially less $$ than what is available from other cemeteries and religious institutions.
You are cordially invited to visit our all-inclusive Shrine of Remembrance facilities and compare any existing prearrangements you may have with local or out of state funeral homes or insurance companies. When we review the same together we may honor an existing pre-need funeral/cremation plan without any additional charge to the family. If you want to switch, we will handle all the details and refund the difference, if any. Colorado pre-need law allows us to do so. There is no obligation. Only when you visit and compare will you know the difference. You will be glad you did.

The Olympian Plaza Reception and Event Center is an exquisite facility located in Colorado Springs for celebrating your loved one’s life. Receptions are available for fellowship and closure following funeral/memorial services or as part of a complete Celebration of Life service hosted at the Reception Center. Our reception center also hosts the monthly Pikes Peak Jazz and Swing Society’s Second Sunday Jazz Affair. The reception center is located at 975 S. Union Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80910 (immediately across Union Blvd. from the Shrine of Remembrance).
