Charles Kenneth Menter

Charles K. Menter, age 49, passed away unexpectedly on March 27, 2018 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was a resident of Colorado Springs for over 20 years and was formerly a resident of Englewood, Colorado. He was a Quality Inspector with many manufacturing companies.

Charles K. Menter was born on August 19, 1968 to Harold R. and Joan Menter in Denver, Colorado. He was raised by his father and step-mother, Janet (Summers) Menter. On May 22, 2010 he married Janet E. (Hunter) Menter in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

He attended and graduated from Englewood High School in 1987. He joined the United States Army in 1986 where he served in Desert Storm and at Fort Carson in Colorado Springs.

He is survived by his loving wife, Janet E. Menter; his children: Spencer Menter, Justin Menter, Mason Menter, and Braeden Menter; his step-mother, Janet Menter; his step-sister, Jerri (Skip) Jackson; his nephews: DJ (Megan) Jackson and Travis Jackson; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold R. Menter.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at Shrine of Remembrance, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80910. Inurnment will be held in a private ceremony at a later date.
