Cherry Ann Medina was born on May 2, 1971, in Colorado Springs, Colorado to Michael Medina and Billie Forrest (Bullard).

In the early morning of August 26, 2024, Cherry took her final breath surrounded by family, ending her journey in this world with a final hug from her sister. 

Cherry is survived by her son, Michael Medina; daughter, Reyna Riccio; mother, Billie Forrest (Ernest); brothers: Mitchell Medina, Ernest Forrest; sister, Rebecca Forrest; two granddaughters: Analeah and Janessa; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Cherry was the one who kept a smile on her face through every moment of her life, even through her toughest battles. Cherry is preceded in death by her dad, Michael Medina; son, Anthony Medina; grandmother, Rose Bullard; grandparents, Patrick and Madelina Medina; aunt, Joyce Medina; uncles, Evan and Allen Medina; and cousins: Monica Medina and Anthony Michael Grimaldo.

Cherry lived her final days in faith, love, and hope living her life to the fullest. God blessed her with the opportunity to walk in this world for a little bit longer, to tell her family and friends she loved them and most importantly to build a beautiful relationship with God before joining him in paradise. Cherry’s smile and spirit will live within those who loved her forever and always.
