Cheryl Lynn Burton passed away peacefully June 29, surrounded by the love of her children and sister.
Cheryl was born July 25, 1958 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Arnold Jasen and Carolyn Cook. Though a well traveled Air Force Brat, Cheryl called Colorado home for 25 years and was proud of her work over the last 15 years in the printing business as a machine operator at Checks Deluxe and Current.
She will be remembered as a devoted mother and grandmother, renowned for her drive, integrity, fortitude and compassion. She was immensely creative and adventurous, with a passion for nature and wildlife. Her selflessness reflected in the life she lived for her children and grandchildren.
Cheryl’s wonderful spirit lives on in those she is survived by; her sons Aaron and Trevor; daughters Alicia and Angela; grandson Miles; granddaughters Kylee, Braelynn and Ava; father Arnold; and sister Debra.
A celebration of life will be held for family and friends at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 6, at the Celebration of Life Funeral Home at 5440 North Union Boulevard.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Cheryl’s name to the World Wildlife Fund or bring a stuffed animal to the service for donation to a local children’s cancer center.
