Cole Samuel DeVries, beloved son, brother and uncle passed away on May 2, 2018. He was 23 years old and was a lifelong resident of Colorado Springs. He was a Residential Wireman. He worked for J2D Electric for 3 years and was going to school for his Journeyman license.

Cole was born on August 6, 1994 to Kevin DeVries and Doreen Buck (Chacon) in Colorado Springs.

He is survived by his parents: Kevin DeVries of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Doreen and Richard Buck of Bayard, Nebraska; and his 5 siblings: his brother, Seaman Tyler DeVries of USS Abraham Lincoln in Norfolk, Virginia, his sister, Brittani Caudle and her husband Jake of Colorado Springs, his sister, Arianna DeVries of Colorado Springs, and his sisters, Arielle and Isabelle Buck of Bayard, Nebraska. He is also survived by his grandmother, Dora Chacon; his nephews: Bentley DeVries, Logan, Anakin and Austin Caudle; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, Alice and Robert DeVries, and his grandfather, Robert Chacon.

Cole had a heart of gold and loved life! He was fond of racing and working on cars. He also enjoyed camping, snowboarding, and hanging with his many, many friends. He loved his four nephews and all his cats.

A private family memorial service will be held.
