Constance “Connie” Louise Zemler, age 90, passed away on July 20th, 2022. She was a resident of Colorado Springs for 58 years. She was the matriarch of her family.
Connie was born on April 29th, 1932, to Dan Spencer and Leona Spencer (Finke). She married Aaron N. Zemler in Salina, KS on July 5th, 1951.
Connie was proud of her children, grandchildren and her great grandchildren. She enjoyed Bingo with friends and time with her family. She was a friend to many and a mother to all. She was an active member of St. Patrick Catholic Church.
She is survived by her children: Bobby, Julie, Lana and Jenny; her siblings: Jean Owens and Kathy Scheeter; her grandchildren: Kimberly, Nicholas, Melissa, Spencer and Mackenzie; her great-grandchildren: Michael, Erin, Damian, Mia and Ben. She was preceded in death by her husband Aaron and her son Danny.
A funeral service will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, July 27th at Shrine of Remembrance, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd. Entombment will follow at the Shrine of Remembrance Mausoleum. A reception will be held following the service at 3126 Prairie Rose View, Colorado Springs, CO 80917.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Connie’s name to Compassus Hospice & Palliative Care, 5475 Tech Center Dr., Colorado Springs, CO 80907.
She has forever changed our lives will always remain in our hearts.

She was always there for her children and grandchildren, and we admired her dedication to her family, She always made us feel loved and welcomed when we visited Colorado. She will live in our hearts and memory.
