November 7, 1939 – December 4, 2020

   D. “Lee” Corder passed away Friday, December 4, 2020.

   He was born November 7, 1939 in Ramah, Colorado to Clifford Eugene Corder and Irma Iris (Weaver) Corder.  He was a graduate of Colorado Springs High School, and also went to the school of hard knocks with perfect attendance and no diploma.  He married Judy Kay Peifer on September 11, 1960 at Skyway Baptist Church.

   Lee was the owner and operator of D&L Sanitation.  He was also with the Colorado Springs Fire Department for five years.  He said he was able to do many things but was a master of none.

   He enjoyed collecting model trains and had a great appreciation for antiques.  He was an active member of First United Methodist Church and often assisted as their cameraman and as a money counter.

   He is survived by his wife, Judy Corder; sons, David Corder, and Michael Corder; a brother, Harold Corder; sisters, Dee Daughtery, and Mikki Carter; and a grandson, Makai Corder.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

   Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd.  Inurnment will be private.

   Memorials in Lee’s name may be made to First United Methodist Church Television Ministries.
