Damian Luke Pietraszek, passed away on October 31, 2022. He resided in Colorado for most of his life but got to experience many walks of life around the world.

Damian was born February 14, 1995 (Valentine’s Day) to Slawek and Beata (Ziach) Pietraszek in Colorado Springs, Colorado. In 2017 he married Patrycja in Colorado.

He was a loving man in pursuit of the truth. Damian loved family; he enjoyed working at hotels, was fond of finance and real estate, and had a great joy for skateboarding and snowboarding. He was also passionate about music.

As an adolescent, Damian attended Holy Trinity Catholic School and then moved to Corpus Christi parish. He attended Manitou Springs High School and had some experience at Colorado Mountain College.
He is survived by his loving wife, Patrycja Olga; his son, Julian; his parents, Slawek & Beata; and his two siblings, Celine and Martin; grandparents, Jozef and Maria; and many uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Damian will especially be remembered for his contagious laugh and his unique and playful sense of humor. His bright outlook and lovable character will be missed by all the lives he’s touched. Considering he had a courageous soul on this earth, it is fitting that he heroically donated his organs to save four lives.

A Visitation and Rosary will be held at the funeral home on Monday, November 14, 2022, between 5:00 and 7:00pm, Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel, 1730 East Fountain Boulevard, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80910. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 10:30am, 124 1st St, Monument, Colorado 80132. Burial, Evergreen Cemetery, 12:30 pm, 1005 Hancock Expressway, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80903.

  15. Very saddened to hear about Damian’s passing. I remember the first time I saw him when he was about a year old. When he was young he called me wuyek (uncle), even though I am not a blood relative, which was endearing. I did not see him in recent years, but I remember taking him to a skate park when he was about 10, and also seeing his high school graduation. He was a kind and soft-spoken person, and I will always remember his mischievous smile. My deepest condolences & prayers to Slawek, Beata, and the rest of the family.
