Danny N. Hance, passed peacefully in his sleep at Springs Ranch in Colorado Springs, CO on Friday, November 19, 2021 at the age of 78. Danny was born and raised in Rutland, Vermont to Catherine and Thomas Hance. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Debra Plotkin. He was survived by his brother Thomas (Diane) Hance of Colorado Springs, Wife Jerriann, son Daniel (Tisha) Hance, daughter Jennifer Hance, and grandchildren, Zachary (Gabby) Hance, Jacob Hance, Brian (Shyanna) McGahey, Donovan McGahey, great-grandchildren, Joshua Hance, Max Hance, Aria Hance, and Kambria McGahey.
Danny bravely enlisted in the army at the age of 17 and served 6 years in Korea and various other places. He started his business, Dan’s Auto Inc. in 1970. Danny married Jerriann in 1978 and together they raised their two children, Daniel and Jennifer, who still work together to run the family business. He was so proud of them for their hard work and following in his footsteps. Danny had a unique pride in his business and cared for his community. He enjoyed long trips in his motorhome and loved to tell stories of his travels.
The Memorial service will be held at 10am on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at the Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home “America the Beautiful” Chapel, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd. Colorado Springs, CO 80910.
