David McColloch Kuhn, 57, passed away peacefully on April 18th, 2019. He was a resident of Colorado Springs for two years and formerly a resident of Parker for 17 years. He began his 35 year career in finance as a stock broker and ended it as a private wealth manager helping people meet their finance goals.
David was born on November 1st, 1961 to David Alan and Jacqueline (McColloch) Kuhn in Cleveland, Ohio. He married Joanie Kuhn on August 16th, 2013 in Parker, CO.
Dave was fond of history and politics. He also enjoyed football, having played himself at the collegiate level, and had an appreciation for good beer. Another favorite past-time from his youth was sailing. He attended Rocky River High School and Kenyon College, graduating in 1984. He further pursued a Masters’ degree in business from Baldwin Wallace University.
He is survived by his loving wife, Joanie; children: Kayla and Kendall; step-children: Katelyn, Corson, and Storrie; brother, Doug; and grandchild, Jack. He was preceded in death by his parents David Alan and Jacqueline.
A visitation will be held at 5pm on Tuesday, April 23rd with a rosary at 6pm all at the Shrine of Remembrance, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd. A funeral mass will be held at 3pm on Wednesday, April 24th at Saint Joseph Catholic Church: 1830 S. Corona Ave., Colorado Springs, CO 80905. A reception at the church will follow. Inurnment will be at Shrine of Remembrance Mausoleum, Pope St. John Paul II Columbarium.
