Davie Yongsu Chong, age 89, passed away on February 18th, 2025. He was a resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado. He moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado, from South Korea in 1975. He was a retired business owner.
Davie was born on December 21st, 1935. He married Kum Cha Chong on September 5th, 1964.
Davie loved hiking and golfing but his favorite hobby was traveling. He loved going on cruises and sight- seeing. Davie was a member of Korean New Life Church and used to be the president of the Korean Senior Organization.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kum Cha; his three children: Mina, Steve and Salina; and his two grandsons: Joshua and Jordan.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at 2:00pm at the Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel, 1730 East Fountain Boulevard, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80910.
A reception will be held following the funeral at Joy Senior Center, 3805 East Pikes Peak Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80909.
