Debbie Sipe
Debbie Sipe, age 56, a Colorado Springs resident since 1969 passed away on Monday, July 9, 2012 after a series of illnesses. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend.
Deborah Ann Keys was born on May 8, 1956 in Rapid City, South Dakota to Stanley T. and Norma J. (Stephens) Keys. She was a 1974 graduate of Palmer High School in Colorado Springs. She worked in many occupations including Honeywell, Maggie Mae’s, a painting company, graphic arts business, and the Eagles Club. She loved the Colorado outdoors and animals, especially dogs. She will be remembered for her passion for graphic arts and her devotion to her son.
She is survived by her son: Mason T. Cleek of Colorado Springs, her parents, her brother Brian (wife, Krista) Keys of Parker, Colorado, her nieces: Kelsey and Kylee Keys, and her grandniece: Hayden Keys, all of Parker, Colorado. She is also survived by her former companion and Mason’s father: Timothy J. Cleek of Colorado Springs.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, July 16, 2012 at the Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel. A reception will follow the services at the Olympian Plaza Reception and Event Center, 975 South Union Boulevard.
Memorials in Debbie’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society, the Susan G. Koman Foundation, or the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region.
