Dennis Oliver
Dennis Oliver, 29, of Colorado Springs, passed away suddenly on February 11, 2013.
Born June 16, 1983 in Sacramento California, he spent the majority of his life in Colorado, where the mountain views, open spaces and wildlife were dear to his heart. Dennis was an avid fisherman since the time he could walk and fly fishing was his passion. He loved the outdoors and spent much of his time camping, hiking and scouting for a good spot to catch his next trout. As a youngster he was naturally talented at sports, especially baseball and taekwondo, but preferred snowboarding and skateboarding, which he continued to do throughout his life.
Dennis had a green thumb and was passionate about botany and horticulture. He honed his skills and gained knowledge as a landscaper, later building a business around botanics and the cultivation of greenhouse plants.
His intellect became evident through his interests and his actions rather than his words. He was generous with a smile, easy to make laugh and always there to help a friend in need.
He will be greatly missed by his mother Linda and sister Stacey. He was preceded in death by his father James Oliver.
There will be a gathering of remembrance at a later date.
