Dorothy, 86, passed April 1, 2025. She was a resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado, for 47 years. She was a Domestic Engineer.

Dorothy was born on August 10, 1938, to Juan Marquez and Cecilia Manchego Marquez. She married Rey Archuleta on June 6, 1958.

Dorothy loved Rey like no other. She also loved her kids, grandkids, and great-grandbabies. Dorothy loved a clean house, and she would go nowhere until the house was clean. She took pride in having an immaculate house.

Dorothy was an Air Force wife for 22 years. She and the kids followed Rey to all duty stations. The family grew up all over the United States but never had to take them overseas.

Dorothy was married to Rey for 58 years, and they had three children.

She is survived by her children and their families: son, Donny T. (Maria); grandson, Chaz (Amanda); eight great-grandchildren: Isiah, Cierra, Dominic, Leah, Dontez, Daniella, Onyx, and Nova; daughter, Michelle; two grandchildren, Sol and Uriah Rey (Justine); great-grandson, Deon; daughter, Yvette (Rick); two grandsons, Marc (Chelzie) and Joshua; and seven great-grandchildren: Aurora and Koda Rey, Lily, Jayiez, CatAlina, Julian, and Xaiden. She is also survived by her brother, Ricky, and her sisters, Barbara and Tammy (Gino).

She was preceded in death by Rey Archuleta, Johnny Marquez, Stella Marquez, Duane Marquez, Peggy Rubacava, Billy Marquez, Elenore Marquez, Sandra Marquez, Larry Marquez and baby Jordan.

A Rosary will be held at 11 a.m., followed by a Memorial Mass at 12 p.m. on Friday, May 2, 2025, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Colorado Springs.
