Dorothy E. Brun, a resident of Colorado Springs since 1958, passed away Monday, September 1, 2017.
She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and always put her care to others before her own. She retired as a secretary from the trust department at Colorado Springs National Bank.
Dorothy was involved in the Catholic Daughters in Security, Colorado Holy Family Parish, and did volunteer work with other parishes within Colorado Springs.
Dorothy is survived by her son, Timothy Brun and his partner Kendra Deering of Las Vegas, Nevada; granddaughter, Ashley Vanderwalker of Colorado Springs; and great grandson, Brayden Vanderwalker of Colorado Springs.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Brun; and three sons: Robert T. Brun, James E. Brun, and Thomas Brun.
A memorial service will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, September 11, 2017 at Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel, 1730 East Fountain Boulevard, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80910. There will be no reception following the service.
