Dorothy Elaine Fouke, a Manitou Springs resident since 1956, passed away at Pikes Peak Hospice on August 31, 2012. She was a loving sister, aunt and friend.
Elaine was born on February 11, 1920, in Dukedom, Tennessee, to Tolbert S. and Mary Louise Francis.
She retired from ARADCOM after many years of Civil Service employment.
Elaine was a member of Central Christian Church, Colorado Springs and also a 50 year member of Ruxton Chapter No. 10, O.E.S., a past Matron and past Grand Chapter Representative of Kentucky.
Elaine was preceded in death by her husband, Harry T. Fouke, her parents and two sisters, Eileen Cox and Evelyn Shipper.
She is survived by her brother, Charles E. Francis and his wife Sarah Ann of Arlington, Texas; her sister, Geraldine R. Nichols of Belleville, Illinois; and many loving nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
Elaine was deeply loved by her family and friends. She touched all our lives and will be greatly missed. We are however comforted in knowing she is now in the loving arms of her Lord and Savior.
Services will be held at the Shrine of Remembrance, Colorado Springs, on Thursday, September 6, 2012. Visitation from 1:00pm to 2:00pm with services following officiated by Eric Batteiger, minister of Sunnyside Christian Church.
