Douglas Crayton Kelso
March 31, 1997 – October 30, 2017
Douglas Crayton Kelso, 20, passed away on October 30, 2017. He was a resident of Colorado Springs and was formerly a resident of Florence, Penrose, and Denver. He worked in the Meat Department at King Soopers.
Doug was born on March 31, 1997 to Trevor Crayton Kelso and Gypsy Aurora Kelso (Garcia).
When Doug was young he loved wildlife, camping and fishing. Later in life he became a great skateboarder, and in recent time he loved boxing out of the BFS boxing gym in Colorado Springs. Doug graduated from Goal Academy High School in May of 2015.
He is survived by his parents: Trevor Kelso (April) and Gypsy Kelso; his soul mate, Olivia Uthaiwat; his siblings: Dan Kelso, Sean Kelso, Meghan Swenson and Kara Swenson; his great-grandmother: Grace Kelso; his grandparents: Keith Douglas Kelso, Sherrie Kelso Urban (Patrick), and Kathleen Ann Garcia; and his many numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his uncle Keith Dustin Kelso.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10am November 4, 2017 at Shrine of Remembrance, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd., Colorado Springs, CO 80910.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Doug’s name to World Wildlife Fund or The Denver Zoo.
