June 1, 1935 – September 25, 2021
Edna went to her heavenly home September 25, 2021. She was born in Mt Clemens, MI. She lived most of her adult life in Colorado Springs. She traveled with her husband while in the United States Air Force, but always called Colorado Springs home.
Edna’s life was rooted in her faith and love for God. Her entire family knew that they could always depend on her to pray on their behalf. She loved her family dearly, especially the grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Her passions were Jesus, family, genealogy, and socializing with family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Hattie Kuecken; brothers, Harvey and Llyod Kuecken; sister, Mary.
Edna is survived by her husband David M Escalante and her children, Judith A Escalante, Patricia Edson, David A Escalante, Andrew J Escalante, Peter M Escalante, Paul J Escalante. Edna is also survived by twenty-three grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren, and numerous nephews and nieces.

7 Oct 2021I have known Edna for more than 20 years from the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Court Holy Family #1794 in Security, CO. We both worked for Holy Family Church and I loved her compassion and smile while helping others. Dave, I am so sorry for the loss of your wonderful wife of so many years.
