Eleonora W. Schultz, a resident of Colorado Springs for 34 years, passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2014. She was a retired Telegrapher with Western Union.

Eleonora was born on April 24, 1913 to Otto Albert and Anna Wilhelmina (Pankoke) Herrmann. She married T. Walter Schultz on June 18, 1949 in Chicago, Illinois.

She was strong willed and was a 2-time cancer survivor. She loved children, family life, and animals. She also enjoyed knitting, crocheting, playing the piano, and gardening. She had a house full of plants. She was a member of Tall Girls Club.

She is survived by her daughter, Roxana Schultz; and her nieces: Janet and Carol. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; her brothers: Raymond and Otto; and her sister, Anita.

A visitation will be held from 1:30 – 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 25, 2014 with a funeral service to follow at Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel.
