Elisa Amy Pollary returned home to her Heavenly Father on May 25, 2015. For an unknown reason near the end of the pregnancy, an event occurred that changed her plans for life. Immediately after birth, she was resuscitated by the amazing staff at Penrose-St. Francis Hospital. Her heart recovered quickly and she was placed on life support systems for a week. The medical staff tried to do everything they could to find the cause that damaged her brain. During this week, family and friends gathered at her bedside to honor, hold, and pray for her. Many other neighbors, friends, and relatives prayed fervently for a miracle on her behalf. A prayerful decision was made on Sunday, May 24, that it would be her time to leave this earth and return to Heavenly Father. The life support was discontinued and she was placed in the arms of her parents to enjoy just a few moments together. Elisa had other plans. She wanted to show that God makes miracles happen. She began to breathe on her own and allowed her mother and father to cuddle and love her for the next 3 ½ hours. This was enough time for Elisa to say goodbye and for her parents to feel the closeness of Heavenly Father.

Elisa is a special child who has been called home for a greater opportunity. She will surely be missed by her father Kenneth, her mother Amy, her sister Jill, and her brothers Tanner and Cole. She will also be missed by grandparents, cousins, uncles, aunts, and friends.

Services for Elisa Amy Pollary will be held on Monday, June 1, 2015 at 10:00am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 5485 Hopalong Trail Dr., Colorado Springs, CO. Friends and family are welcome to attend the visitation from 9:00-9:45am. She will be buried at Evergreen Cemetery in Colorado Springs, CO.

A special thanks from the family to all the doctors and nurses at Penrose-St. Francis Hospital for their kindness, love, and support. The family is also grateful for many friends and family members who have reached out and brought comfort and peace. And finally, a very special thank you to Heaveny Father and His Son who have reached out and touched our lives and taken Elisa home. In time, we will meet her and have a chance to raise her, love her, and enjoy being with her again. We love you, Elisa!
