Elizabeth Ann (Lindberg) Bowlin
On January 3, 2018, Elizabeth Ann (Lindberg) Bowlin, 73, passed from this life to be with her Lord in Heaven.
She had courageously fought a very long, difficult, but inevitably losing battle with metastatic cancer.
Her family and friends knew her as the most kind-hearted, loving and hard-working individual in their lives. She will be dearly missed and loved forever.
Elizabeth was born in the Eaton / Greeley, Colorado area on Christmas Eve, December 24, 1944 to Charles Eberhardt and Helen Pryor. After high school, she married Gene Lindberg, moved to Pueblo and spent most of her adult life in Pueblo, as a single parent, working several jobs at once and raising three beautiful daughters on her own.
She spent many years in banking, both in Greeley and Pueblo, and had experience in nursing, home health care, real estate, manufacturing, distribution and numerous other occupations. She was active in her church and enjoyed teaching Sunday school.
After retirement she married Dr. Damon Bowlin of Pueblo and the couple was residing in Colorado Springs at her passing.
Elizabeth is survived by her loving husband, Dr. Damon Bowlin; her children: Chris Anderson of Texas, Cheri (Mike) Fryar of Kansas, and Cindy (Darryl) Lindberg of Pueblo. Additionally, she leaves behind eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; along with a brother, James Eberhardt of Texas; and several aunts and uncles from the Eberhardt and Pryor sides of the family.
Visitation with the family is scheduled for between 1:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 10, at the Pueblo Christian Center, 1605 South Pueblo Boulevard, 81005, 719-564-3310.
Memorials in Elizabeth’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
